Part 1: The American Color Revolution is Disguised as “Democracy” “with “Dignity”

Was the assassination of Charlie Kirk part of a plot behind 10,000+ organizations to use “Disagreeing Better” as a lever to pass left-leaning policies?

If not, then it is now.

My foreknowledge of who some of these groups hosting the Dignity Over Violence: A Unified Civic Response webinar were and what they’d been up to made me physically ill as I watched them exploit the death of Charlie Kirk just 4 days after his assassination. Most or none of the “bridge-building” organizations (Figure 1) who put on the event 4 days after his death had ever agreed with Kirk and his political stances, and while they praised that he went on campuses to debate ideas, they were specifically there to push initiatives that were in direct opposition to his views of defending any and all speech protected by the 1^st amendment of the Constitution.

The co-conveners represented on this slide from the webinar are a part of a “movement of many movements” behind a network of networks comprised of organizations that began to pull together in 2017 to supposedly “save democracy” from the clutches of Trump’s presidency. (Figure 2)

I’ve done years of research on the groups involved in this cabal that I’m going to share in this article in hopes that their façade of “working together across differences” can be shown for what it really is, which is an end run around our Constitution to transform every sector of the American economy and our elections to push their totalitarian idea of “democracy.” In fact many of the people involved in this movement are actually former employees of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and other government agencies that have been trained on how to foment color revolutions to instigate regime change in other countries. Part of something similar they call “DemAID,” these operatives trained with American taxpayer dollars are using the same strategies they’ve utilized to shift culture and overthrow governments internationally but now on domestic soil to (they say - Figure 3), protect American democracy from authoritarianism under Trump.

The Listen First Coalition

Trump’s initial election to office in 2016 and the events in Charlottesville shortly after represented to these groups the rise of fascism and a “threat to democracy” that needed to be urgently addressed. Out of this concern, the Listen First Project, who’s listed as one of the co-conveners of the Dignity Over Violence webinar above and under National Support in Figure 2, was born. Their coalition brought together 500+ groups from the social justice, racial justice, immigration reform (pro open borders), systems change, election reform, interfaith, and philanthropy sectors for intra-movement organizing to find a way to combat this perceived threat. Mediators Foundation founder Mark Gerzon (who are listed in the Core Partner, and “Wise Sage” sections of the above chart) even got philanthropists from both the “left” (Soros) and the “right” (Koch) to meet - at what he hints at was most likely the Rockefeller estate - and talk about how they could use their finances collaboratively to work on this common agenda (Figure 4).

Their current strategy to “generate democracy” consists of what they call the “4 Bs”(Figure 5) – Blocking, Building, Bridging and Belonging – and if that doesn’t work, the “unwritten” B: “Breaking” America’s systems and institutions.

As Carolyn Lukensmeyer of the National Institute for Civil Discourse said as she spoke from the podium at Listen First’s 2018 gathering, the election in 2016 was yet another time that the “electoral vote and the popular vote were the opposite.” Though this had happened before in 2000’s election, she claimed that this time around the political vitriol was so dialed up that citizens literally hated their friends and neighbors if they voted for the one that wasn’t their choice. The Listen First Coalition promoted themselves as an organization who came together to mend America’s “frayed social fabric by bridging divides with conversations that prioritize understanding.”

“Bridging” Conversations

To the groups in the Listen First Coalition, “conversations that prioritize understanding” means using dialogue guided by facilitators trained in manipulative Delphi techniques in the “bridging” movement to convince citizens that we need to shift collectively toward a New America (literally the name of the Soros organization connected to the “democracy” movement) with a new concept of “pluralism.” It makes sense when you realize that another co-convener of the Dignity Over Violence webinar and main funder of the Listen First Coalition and the entire movement is called New Pluralists (whose core partners are Koch’s Stand Together Trust and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund).

Pluralism in a “Democracy” vs. a Republic

Pluralism was actually the native condition of America at its birth. Groups who settled here which had to coexist with one another held very different views in regard to the most supreme questions concerning the nature and destiny of man, which are basically religious. The founders of our country had to figure out how a hodgepodge of such incompatible faiths could come together as a society, agree to live in peace and cooperate to achieve the material goals of the community. Their solution was the Constitution, a set of principles that motivated the various religious groups, despite their differences, to participate in the political process. The Constitution reflects the pluralism of society while granting protections for the beliefs of all by establishing a country governed by the rule of law: a Republic.

“Blocking” Things that “Undermine” Democracy by Changing Voting

As that original colonies expanded to the West, the creation of the electoral college ensured that even people in what we now call “fly over states” with less dense populations and acres of farmland felt represented and had a say in how our republic voted, not just the big city centers.

Yet this new pluralist movement does not define “pluralism” as a Republic, but as a democracy (mob rule). They want to “block” (do away with) the Electoral College to ensure those conservatives in “fly over” red states can’t ever elect someone like Donald Trump again.

It’s why many of these groups in the Listen First project like ActiVote and others are pushing heavily for election reforms like open primaries, ranked choice voting (RCV), blockchain voting determined by citizen assemblies and a deliberative democracy, along with the elimination of the electoral college. Organizations like Represent Us and Rank the Vote and Equal Vote are all listed on the Better Together America Ecosystem Map under “National Support.” Other main supporters of RCV like FairVote are connected to the Listen First Project through their coalition members like UNITE, whose co-founder uses his 3 organizations to come into states and fundamentally change their education, civics, health and voting policies (Figure 6).

UNITE is also a partner of the New Pluralists who, as noted in this previous article, gave one billion dollars to the Biden administration to curb “hate-fueled violence.” The website Biden launched for this initiative now redirects to UNITE’s Dignity Index website, whose tool to score speech for its contempt so it can be kept out of the public square that was piloted at the University of Utah is now being heavily promoted as a “solution” following the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Strangely, one of the people hired as an original “coder” that helped to create the Dignity Index, Ermiya Fanaeian is the founder of Armed Queers SLC, whose group is being investigated for possibly having foreknowledge of Kirk’s alleged shooter’s plans before he carried them out.

The Dignity Index is also listed as a co-convener of the webinar in Figure 1, and has worked closely with Utah Governor Cox’s Disagree Better campaign.

So has the Listen First Project.

The Listen First Project’s Bridging Movement Alignment Collaborative (BMAC) boasts that one of their accomplishments was teaming up with Cox, cultivating “a strategic partnership with the National Governors Association to co-create a joint, expanded Disagree Better campaign to meet the moment of 2024.”

Charlie Kirk being assassinated in a state that has committed itself as the “hub of national depolarization efforts,” planned or not, has been a powerful way to promote their “hate speech” curbing initiatives that Kirk would have called out as being an attack on the Constitutional right to free speech were he still alive. (Figure 7)

The Inter-Movement Impact Project (IMIP)

How do I know that the goal of these “depolarization efforts” is actually the overhaul of democracy as our Founding Fathers envisioned? Their own words.

The man who helped Pearce Godwin form the Listen First Project in 2017, Walt Roberts (listed as a Wise Sage on the Better Together America Ecosystem chart), has been running bi-monthly meetings with all the organizations in the Listen First Coalition he’s coined the Inter-Movement Impact Project (IMIP) Generate Democracy! Community Forum. These digital gatherings bring together many of the leaders from some of the driving organizations behind the so-called “democracy”/bridging movement to discuss how they can work collaboratively toward their goals. I discovered links to the recordings of their 90 minute meetings, and have listened to all the ones I could find.

Here is what was clear:

-This group is not bi-partisan, or “transpartisan” as they like to call themselves. They are all leftists pretending to be centrists who are in their own echo chamber in these meetings. I’ve heard some voices of reason in their group every once in a while pipe up and say that they need to make their gatherings more welcoming in order to get more conservative voices to their table. Why?

People in their meetings say things like “we need to get republicans to go against this [Trump] administration.” (Figure 8) They call Trump and Elon “criminals” who have committed “illegal, traitorous acts” for using DOGE to dismantle USAID because of their misuse of funds to promote leftist wish lists in other countries. They say that their group needs to come up with the right narrative, because “we are all concerned about our country that it doesn’t work, as well as this mad man [Trump] who is threatening to destroy it.” In other words, “Making America Great Again” (MAGA) Republicans who want to put America first aren’t welcome; only squishy “Never Trumpers” and “Republicans in name only” (RINOs) who are sympathetic to their cause.

-Their cause is to “Rebuild Democracy,” but their definition of “democracy” is not what you think. In a meeting IMIP had earlier this year, fellow old-timer in this movement Jim Rough, said the quiet part out loud. (Figure 9)

“We used to have what we called ‘democracy.” Of course, it’s actually not. It’s always been a constitutional republic. One of the things I’ve been working on for over 30 years now is a strategy for how to transition to real democracy, what we call a Wise Democracy. It’s really time.”

Their definition of “democracy” includes shifting America’s entire economy away from measuring gross domestic product (GDP) for economic growth to something deceptively termed a “well-being” or “resource-based economy” to accomplish their socialist objectives. IMIP brought in the same players from the Thriving Together movement who were behind the Federal Plan for Equitable Long-Term Recovery and Resilience (ELTRR) to help re-operationalize the framework (Figure 10) that the treasonous interagency workgroup had set up within the Biden administration that I exposed back in December of 2023 in this article, video, and X thread.

This framework dictated that federal funding be allocated through an “equity”/social justice lens. It allowed large sums of money from omnibus spending packages like the Inflation Reduction Act passed by Congress to help recover from the pandemic and build “resilience” toward future crises to be funneled to grant applicants that were prioritized for tackling issues like “climate justice.” Climate Justice is the claim that people of color are disproportionately affected by climate change and therefore needed a lion’s share of the funding to put environmental measures in place in their communities. As Senators Capito and Ricketts exposed in this press conference, many of the “green” organizations that received this money were radical front groups who were actually using that grant money to support activities and issues that go against American interests. When Trump took office, his new EPA administrator, Lee Zeldin, discovered and cancelled many of the fraudulent EPA grants that were also tied to this arm of the Federal Plan for ELTRR (“Justice40”) and the Executive Order Biden issued to put it into place was repealed. The Federal Plan’s website was taken down, and the Thriving Together folks announced a plan to regroup (Figure 11). They’re are now scheming to put their plans into place in partnership with the “democracy” movement, but their approach will have to be different since they don’t have control of the White House any longer.

“Thriving Together” Civic Hubs

Instead of their 7-Vital Conditions framework operating as a federal “top down” approach to funding, this time around their plan is to assemble and execute it from the bottom up by using “Rebuilding Democracy” (see video in Figure 12) as a pretext to install Thriving Together “civic hubs” in every city and town. These civic hubs, which will essentially be unelected citizen assemblies, will “democratize” the way decisions are made on how localities spend their funds, replacing elected and accountable officials chosen to represent the interests of the people. Civic Hubs will ensure that a city’s wealth will be distributed through that same equity/social justice framework that the Federal Plan for ELTRR set up, ensuring that groups that claim to be “disadvantaged” and issues related to their social determinants of health (e.g. low-income housing, climate justice, etc.) are prioritized.

It’s interesting to note that the Listen First Project I mentioned earlier as being one of the co-conveners of the webinar after Kirk’s death was also listed as one of the network leaders of the 100+ organizations that worked together in putting together the original Springboard behind the Federal Plan for ELTRR. (Figure 13) Coincidence? I think not.

This article has introduced the idea that the “Disagree Better,” “bridging,” “depolarization” movement is a really a dirty trick to fundamentally change America’s economy and governance. Kirk’s assassination, planned or not, has provided a national stage to launch their initiatives. In subsequent articles in this series, I plan to show you how these same organizations are involved in shifting entire cities’ culture and leadership through international exchange programs and how they’ve hijacked America’s 250^th birthday celebration to use their version of “civic renewal” as a lever to change all local policies.
