AmeriCorps as a Tool for Radicalizing American Youth and Resettled Refugees

AmeriCorps History

President Bill Clinton signed the National and Community Service Trust Act on September 21, 1993, creating AmeriCorps and the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS)—its funding arm—to expand opportunities for Americans to serve their communities. State Service Commissions (e.g. UServe Utah) have been established to allocate AmeriCorps funding to selected state programs through annual grant competitions and to administer special volunteer initiatives that encourage participation. Grants are made either directly to an organization or through an intermediary group that handles the distribution of grant funding.

Service Training is Leftist Brainwashing

While acts of service and volunteerism should be encouraged among our citizenry, the leadership training given through the State Service Commission grantees to participants in their programs are currently being used as a tool for indoctrination into radical leftist ideologies.

·         Training programs (e.g. the ones given by City Year and Public Allies) are explicitly “anti-racist”, teaching volunteers that in order to not be racist, one must actively tear down the systems and institutions of America which they say hold racism in place.

·         As one of their ‘special volunteer initiatives,’ some State Service Commissions are offering retreats and other leadership training programs to youth that potentially want to serve in the AmeriCorps program when they get out of high school. Students learn from DEI experts at these retreats and are educated in critical theories that get them to adopt collectivist thinking about subjects like immigration, climate change and how to solve poverty with “equitable” redistribution of wealth (communism/socialism).

Recruited to Radicalized

These radicalized AmeriCorps volunteers are being used as boots on the ground for progressive political causes during and after their service.

·         AmeriCorps job listings include volunteers for projects like: identifying Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) groups and their status within area schools to curate a resource database for youth, creating DEI youth training videos for “family planning” centers, developing a training curriculum for professionals and volunteers serving LGBTQ+ youth, etc. In 2016, AmeriCorps was exposed for having its volunteers transport abortion patients to their appointments and had to clarify their guidance on what volunteers could and could not do regarding the prohibited activities of providing abortion services and referrals.

·         AmeriCorps is making it so that participants who serve in schools as “Student Success Coaches” can have an easy pipeline to become (activist) teachers. This is most likely how the teacher shortage will be “solved.” For example, a self-described emotional, queer, homeless person named Miguel Johnson was plucked off the streets, trained by City Year for a few weeks, and then was placed into a middle school in Kansas City as a “mentor” where he encouraged a child to embrace his queer identity.

According to the article, he plans to pursue a career in education after his service year. Are exemptions being given in the vetting process for “marginalized” identities? This should be investigated.

·         Through the R.I.S.E. AmeriCorps program, even refugees to our country will be taught critical theories and radicalized through programs and services administered by AmeriCorps volunteers.

Scaling of Service Programs Portends Disaster

From funding for the programs to how much AmeriCorps members can earn and how many can serve has been scaled considerably over the last few years through several initiatives. This is a full court press to create a Red Guard similar to that which was cultivated in the Chinese Cultural Revolution to overthrow America, its culture, and our individualistic values.
